Queer Sewing Circle: Embroidery Workshop!

Made for Kyle Howerton's Advanced Digital Media Production. The assignment was to shoot a fun/lively video of whatever you were doing over labor day weekend, and it just so turned out we had scheduled the sewing circle's first workshop for that very weekend! A lovely confluence. I did some pre-production in the days before laying out the rough story arc and some shots I knew I wanted so I had an outline of what I'd be doing when we got there. Everyone in attendance very kindly was ok with me sticking my camera in their stitches, and hey, I still managed to learn some stuff about embroidery!
